We should each throw $20 in a pot and see who wins the Coaches Pool. Select who you think the coach is going to be. Everyone who picks the next head coach splits the pot. Or is this legal? Okay probably not. Let's do this. We each get one selection for who we think the next coach will be in this thread. The winner gets an all-expenses paid trip like all the way around the world almost, or something like that.

This will be fun to look back and see who called it. No explanation required, but if you would like to give your reasons, by all means...

I know I have consistently touted Jamey Chadwell, but, we're saying who we THINK IS GOING to be the next HC.
There has been so much (unwarranted in my opinion) discussion of MJ as a viable head coach by the local media and people peripherally connected to the University, I believe there is fire with the smoke.
There is a powerful faction that pushes for a strong NU connection over other traits of a head coach. If MJ was doing what he's doing now at another school, nobody would consider him for the NU job. If he was at Texas A&M, having taken over from a failed head coach, and had the similar results so far, Nebraska wouldn't be putting him on any wish list to coach here. If TAM was 3-6 and Mickey had the last 2-3 on his watch, who would want him here.
I believe the same faction that gave Frost a free rein and chance after chance is pushing for MJ. Later on we'll find that our first tier choices all said "No thanks" when the support for them wasn't there. We'll see if my speculation pans out.
MJ is my bet. I hope I'm wrong.
