2026 Volleyball

I have heard a number of v-ball pundits say that Nebraska's world record three years ago sparked a new nationwide interest in women's volleyball.
During this time of new eyeballs on the sport, you've got Harper, Andi and Bergan receiving serious (Taylor Swift-like) rockstar status from young girls across the nation--and all the rest of us too.
Some of us are old enough to remember when the Dallas Cowboys used to call themselves "America's Team." With our volleyball 'Triplets' getting another year of eligibility, Nebraska volleyball has a legitimate shot at claiming that title over the next couple of years.

112 year old Wrigley Field in Chicago is one of the oldest and most iconic ball parks in North America. Seeing a game there is on the bucket list for all major league baseball fans.
Today, for the first time ever, Wrigley Field will play host to a women's volleyball match there featuring #1 Nebraska.
That's big time stuff by any definition!

This is an abject embarrassment and a disaster. Playing it this late was beyond stupid.

I can empathize with all those folks at Wrigley Field, I was at Scott Frost's Husker coaching debut vs Akron.

I've tried to avoid being too critical of our volleyballers' efforts on the court this season....BUT THIS needs to be said: Harper Murray and Bergen Reilly weren't taking their floor scrubbing duties seriously. COME ON, GIRLS, FOCUS!

When you think these young ladies will leave UNL mature adults, they turn into 8 year old little girls, screaming about everything. heheh.
