Glad it went better for Nebraska than the last time we were in Jerry's World which was the 2010 B12 CCG. Sweet to get a little revenge on SMU for them beating us in 2024. Should be a fun season!

This year of Husker Volleyball is far beyond another 'top-ranked team season.' Ever since the world record attendance season, women's volleyball has been growing throughout the country. And fueling that growth has been the 'rockstar' attraction girls across the nation have in Harper Murray, Andi Jackson, and Bergen Reilly. This trio has become volleyball royalty.
The adoration reminds me of 1983 and the way the entire CFB world treated Turner Gill, Mike Rozier, and Irving Fryer. But, if I'm being honest, Harper, Andi, and Bergen are likely BIGGER stars when comparing the two sports. Nebraska is setting attendance records everywhere they play.
Enjoy this season, people. This team and these three young women will be talked about decades from now.
This opening weekend is brutal, no matter how you slice or dice it. Over a span of three days, they'll have played FOUR matches against top-ranked opponents flying across the country to two high-profile venues (Dallas and Las Vegas.) That's a lot to ask of any team, no matter how good they are.
Tonight's match with UNLV was pushed back due to *checks notes* a weather-delayed IndyCar race. Which has seemingly been postponed entirely now, meaning we should be playing already. Fox is dumb
