2020 game by game predictions.........

Sorry guys
Truth is Nebraska is no longer Nebraska. We will get everyone’s best shot because we used to be a big name but now the little guys know they can win if they play well

it would be a landmark win if central Michigan, South Dakota state yeach, or cincy beats us here at home.
These are all confident teams who think they can win.

long gone are the days when teams would look for a soft spot to land. I’m hopeful frost can turn it around but I’m very fearful of this season.

those who are predicting 6-1 to start, I’m not sure they played. This is a game of frame and confidence. Our kids think once something goes bad we are going to lose. Those out of conference teams are confident, have a chip on their shoulder and think they can win- dangerous stuff we would never have considered 20- 30 years ago
Embarrassing

Blow these csers out with no let up and no mercy. Be physical, limit our mistakes and be Nebraska for crying out loud. We have better players stfu and just freaking beat down those guys in all 3 phases of the game
Stoic
Physical
No more excuses

then act like you expected to beat them down, not celebrating like you just won the super bowl

Me thinks we're looking at, worse case, 5-7, best case 7-5.
Off the top of my head, I see losses to Cinci, tOSU, IA, WI, MN, PSU-and don't forget the Grim Reaper.

I find it hard to believe that AM will be much, if any, better than last year, especially since his main weapon, JDS, is gone. Alotta good young talent @ WR coming in, but they are all green. RB position, once again, fairly lackluster. Not enough fire power to be a contender this year and the defense should also be pretty average. I would be "thrilled" with 7-5, actually, and no dead players.

Maybe in '21, they "turn the corner"...

Personally, if McCaffrey gets his chance, I see more wins. He reminds me of a poor man's Eric Crouch, but probably a better passer.

He has the will to win in his genes. And I just see so much more decision quickness from him.

And we are NOT losing to Iowa this year....mark it down.

Like someone w bad teeth once said, "everybody's a hero until they get punched in the mouth". Such was AM.
Caff looks decent, but he's a rookie and hasn't been punched in the mouth yet-oh wait, he got injured too!

He better put on some weight.

That's seems like an awfully harsh assessment considering AM played the season with an injury that required surgery after the season.
I'm talking about AM as a frosh starter was lighting it up until he got injured. Not the same since. Caff got injured last year after about a dozen plays and we were down to Bunch.
So, I'm not hanging my hat on Caff.

McCaffrey has been taking licks though. I think he can handle the "toughness" just fine. Like I said, it's in his genes.

Assuming a full schedule is played (big assumption at this writing):

I see these games as coin-flips: Purdue, Cincinnati, Northwestern, Illinois
I see these games as likely wins: CMU, SDSU, Rutgers.
I see these games as likely losses: Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin
I see these games as great opportunities to pull mild upsets: Iowa, Minnesota

If we get five wins in the first two categories, I'd like to think we'll pick up at least one in the last two categories.
