NBC showed NU’s QBs warming up before the game and there were only 3 - no sign of Haarberg. And I didn’t see him in the game. I haven’t seen anything to indicate there’s an issue, but it seemed odd.

This was an important win but with each passing hour I vacillate between wondering if the victory was because NU is really good or if CU is kind of lousy. We are definitely not good enough to sleepwalk against Northern Iowa and certainly not against Illinois. Hopefully the team will continue...

One more (that I’ve seen) - Cardinals cut Ben Stille. Here’s hoping these guys all end up on other teams or practice squads.

Phalen Sanford cut. Travis Vokolek sticks with the Cardinals as the 4th TE.

In addition to Nick Gates (who was battling Cam Jurgens for a roster spot), Quinton Newsome, and Jack Stoll, other Husker cuts: DiCaprio Bootle, Stanley Morgan, Samori Toure, Omar Brown, Isaiah Stalbird (via South Dakota State), and Carlos Davis. could be more - the ESPN site didn’t list all...

I am surprised by the number of true freshmen on the depth chart. Either they recruited really well in the most recent class or they haven’t developed others as we might have hoped. This is HCMR’s 2nd class but he needs to develop the guys who were already here.

You guys are staring straight at the hole and forgetting all about the doughnut. Let’s hope we can enjoy watching HCMR achieve success before we have to worry about him leaving.

Remind me - what colors are on Georgia’s helmets?

Start the season with a win and build from there. Confident teams win fourth quarters and doubting team find ways to lose. The Huskers seems to have the physical talent to win at least 6 games. Can they keep themselves from losing seven?

Queue the Kate Upton montage.

5 star freshmen offensive linemen are still freshmen. Where is Grant Brix on the depth chart (I honestly don’t know, but it isn’t high)? Development will be needed even with all that NIL $.

Turner Corcoran was pushing to start at LT anyway but you just have to feel for poor Teddy. He just can’t catch a break, season after season. There appears to be more depth at OL this year than there’s been is some time but this news stinks.

Sorry for the duplication. Will appreciate a moderator deleting one.

Former NFL DC Monte Kiffin, father of Lane, dies

I hope he is peer recruiting David Sanders!

Did he fumble at some critical moments? yes. But, the Dude played with a broken jaw. Nuff said.

sorry guys…. But in my defense, this topic was essentially begging for miserable memories….

So, based on info provided, Butler quit the Bills after they promoted the LB coach to the coordinator position and he wants to be a DC. Are we then to assume there is an “understanding” that he would be the DC if/when Tony White leaves to be a head coach someday? If so, how do Dvoracek and...

The loss to Va Tech under Bo when they hail Mary’d us was an absolute jaw dropper. The way we literally gave away last year’s opener to Minnesota was also pretty horrific. Oh, and two losses to the Buffs under Frost. I better stop now.

On the one hand, no one can now say DONU coerced his decision by flying in his parents. On the other hand, geez.
