I was in Aviano, Italy on Med cruise and was lucky to get to watch the game on TV. That being the case I can't compare the 1978 and 2001 games for loudness. The Husker fans had a great time in both cases. In keeping with the thread title, I would have to say 1971 OU game....after all, it is...

Bill Carpenter graduated from Army the same year I graduated Navy....1960 Met him during a exchange week in 1959. A really good guy and a great soldier, patriot.

This is an incredible accomplishment, Mo. You have every right to be the proud papa. Forty-eight years old and can retire without ever having to work again if he so chooses. I speak from experience, because that is how old i was when I retired from the Navy....32 years ago!!

San Miguel...drank a lot of it in my many trips to the Western Pacific. It was brewed in the town of San Miguel, not Manila. And yes, at one time, owned by the McArthur family.

Todd, I have two smart TVs. If I get the Hulu, or DirectGo, or one of the others, do I have to pay for a separate account for each TV, or will one account work for both TVs? I also have a Roku stick that I can use for either TV. I presently have ATT-Uverse.

The next duo has already played....Frost and Green. I kinda liked Crouch and Alexander, also. AM & Washington could very well be the future great duo.
