Who's better? Stan was a great receiver for us, but for my money I take Bell every time.

Morgan. I loved :cool0018: but he was this a scrappy, sandlot, make anything happen sort of guy much like his QB was - but as a pure talent I'd take Morgan; agreed we'll see him longer in the NFL.

Would have been nice to see KB with a more accurate QB--his stats would look a lot different--but I would take SM8 overall---wish they both had another year of eligibility :)

Bell was dinged alot his last 2 years....that is enough to tip me to SM8

Stan the man! Bell made some crazy great catches too. Would love to have them both in this offense

Hard to tell as they played with different QB's and systems most of the time. Stanley much better after he catches it. Kenny Bell has a lot less drops and that's saying a lot coming from a guy that had to catch all the fastballs from TA.

Both are great athletes. Both are over achievers. Bell has the Fro. Morgan is a more complete receiver and more refined. Bell was more physical. Too bad he has been injury prone and we have not seen him develop in the pros. I give the edge to Morgan. He compiled his stats on a team with a lot more receiving talent to share the attempts. Bell was pretty much the main option on every pass play. I rank them both behind Rodgers and Fryer.

Crazy is dead wrong (as usual!) Stan is Da Man!

In addition to his impressive stats, I also give Morgan extra points for his leadership. He certainly wasn't as vocal as Bell--but sometimes that's a good thing.

I will give Bell a big bonus point for his slobberknocker block against a Wisconsin player in the B1G championship game. It's the only hit in my lifetime that I'd put in the same all-time elite realm as Ruud's hit against OU's Kelly Phelps in 1978.

I don't think his measurables (aka 40 time mainly) will get him drafted in the first 3 rounds. He is more of a 4th or 5th rounder - unless he kills it at the Combine.
I figured he was middle rounds too. Baldwin a Seahawk went in the middle rounds and does pretty good for himself. Morgan will have to want it more than Bell did even with more talent. The NFL is all about winning and not much else.

Actually, Baldwin was an undrafted free agent. I watched him play here in HS.
