As many have said: it's not Frost's style. We've got a new center and a freshman QB who probably never took a snap under center in HS. It's a moot point anyways; if the O-line could get a push on inside zone, it wouldn't matter.

For those of you calling for some changes in the coaching staff: don't hold your breath. It's not happening this year, or probably even next year. At least, it won't be forced from the University; someone like Troy Walters could leave for a head gig, but Frost isn't getting rid of anyone.

Urbach is still starting over Ober at LS, too.

There's just no one to take his place. The lack of serviceable depth at LB is staggering.

1. They weren't buying into the program. 2. They were more concerned about getting their own run rather than the betterment of the team. 3. Based upon their output at Nebraska (the only output that matters), I don't think we can call them "very talented".

He'll be fine. He probably doesn't need to be a returner, and it would help to get him involved in the game early. He's not quite as elusive at this level as he was in HS, so it would probably benefit him to get North-South as quickly as possible (this goes for Space Cowboy, too).

They don't.

I've been asking for a dedicated QBs coach for years now, and the fact that we have two positions capable of coaching QBs at a high level will be a boon, not only for Martinez, but for McCaffery and anyone else coming into the program to play the position.

For reasons that probably belong in the Third Rail, I would prefer that we not play Liberty.
