There may have been a second remaining on the clock when the ball hit something...but that call (end of game) had never at that point been overruled by "instant replay" of a ball being thrown out of bounds and I don't know that it has been overruled since then. It stunk of Texas officials...

Agree, agree. Going to throw out the loss to Texas 2009 Big XII Championship game. Put a second back on the clock so Mack Brown could send his kicker out to win the game.

Wish the young man well in recovery. Hope he can recover well enough to have a quality life even if it no longer includes football. Side note, this is a perfect example of why the Transfer Portal needs to be fixed. 4 colleges in 4 years? I hadn't realized he transferred to Georgia.

Really, though, what did Sorsby expect? He broke the rules, plain and simple. Others that have done similar (arguably less than Sorsby) have been banned, kicked out, suspended, etc. I don't know what he was thinking doing it, but certainly don't know how he thought he would get to play.
