Frost wants more Husker Bucks

Let the record show Frost is a pretty average football coach. 2 things happened during that 12-0 season at UCF. The had plenty of good luck (including a massive number of takeaways) and way above average QB play. Those 2 things will win games at the college level especially if you aren't playing in the B1G or SEC. AMart - from all appearances - is an above average QB but that is not enough when you are play in the B1G - especially if that QB makes mistakes and AMart made plenty as our starting QB. Why he did......probably a combo of poor coaching and not enough good players around him.

Quarterback play has always been critical to a team's success, but IMO especially so in this CFB era.

#10, Mackenzie Milton was that UCF team's difference maker with his exceptional play, his leadership, and his moxie. That little guy (5 foot 10ish) was the person most responsible for the Knights going undefeated.

I sure wish the Huskers had a #10 like Mac!!!

The quality of the competition had a lot to do with that record as well.

I believe that had DONU had UCF's cupcake schedule, we also would have gone undefeated. Having Milton as QB kinda clinched the deal IMO.

Before I hit the post button and p*ss people off, I'm talking about our team in 2018 who lost their first 6 games to finish with a 4-8 record. With Milton at the helm, I'm thinking we could have pulled off UCF's season in 2017. But that's just me having a little fun while I try to rewrite history.

I'd say you are correct. I would say the talent level of UFC's schedule was comparable to the first five teams NU has played this season, the only exception being the bowl game. However, that is much the same as the type of schedule NU had back in the Big 8 days.

"Lies have been told on this man’s name for five years now."

Yeah, the bald faced lies Nebraska insiders have made up to trash poor Scott's reputation is beyond the pale, right guys? ;)

I have lost all interest in Frost, be it good or bad. But I find this kind of 'rehab work' at our expense disingenuous.

Some people find success in some places, but not in others. He can't exist in the spotlight. He can hide in Orlando. I remember one person saying this when people were calling for SF to be the Head Coach. I think he was right. People bashed him and said it was personal. In the end, he called it. Someone close to the Frost family told me they knew he wouldn't work in Lincoln. He laid out reasons that led to his demise. SF never really wanted the job; his performance showed that while he was here.
