I remember him from the old scout board and from here as well. I recall him giving Doc grief with his counter points on about..well..anything husker related. He wasn't doing it in trolling fashion though - just expressing a his own view point. He'll be missed. Condolences to his family. Todd

we can finally say "college football starts next month" yeah, it's at the end of the month but i'll take it.

haven't played that game since 2004/2005. just recently bought one of those xbox s things for that game.

i think we're better off and while the record isn't *much* better than last years, it's still better and the team is better coached overall.

perused an illini game time mb thread. had to chuckle when one was saying something to the effect.. "nebraska is trying to nebraska the game away and we're -still- not taking them up on it".. it's an expression now - "don't nebraska the game away".."they nebraska'd the game!" etc.

i like what i've seen so far (for the most part) from a stand.back.view of the entire program. rhule seems to be an actual *professional* coach as opposed to frost who was easily overwhelmed while the offensive play calling was waaay to predictable. i called..to myself..last years georgia...

while respecting what colorado did..mainly deion with the entirely new team and such..i haven't fully bitten off deion sanders having created an "unstoppable force" within a football team. we've all -especially us husker fans- have seen those flash in a pan coaching hires that bedazzle everyone...

those are better than those uniforms that came out years ago..those uni's that looked like the jersey numbers were made with HVAC tape
