Eck and Aurich were on the same coaching staff in South Dakota. Bring Eck in and keep Aurich. May have to do a deep cleaning on Aurich to get the stench of Coach Matt off of him though.
the deep cleaning... you just made me visualize Aurich getting power washed. "quit moving dammit, this is for your own good. we have to get that Rhule off you"Eck and Aurich were on the same coaching staff in South Dakota. Bring Eck in and keep Aurich. He sounds so down on himself. I hope he's okay.
I hate to see people throwing things on the field like that. Win or lose, I'd like to believe we're better than that.
I agree. It's just so sCUm like and I want our fans to be better than sCUm.I hate to see people throwing things on the field like that. Win or lose, I'd like to believe we're better than that.
Unfortunately the objects being thrown onto the field was from the student section.I agree. It's just so sCUm like and I want our fans to be better than sCUm.
Not surprising to me that it would be from the student section. These days, seems like those attitudes are prevalent, no matter where you are from. Parents, I think, adopt the attitude of kids will be kids and hope they get it out of their system, grow up, whatever. My parents, regardless of my age, were always willing to let me know when I was out of line and I was NEVER to old for corporal punishment.Unfortunately the objects being thrown onto the field was from the student section.
And I dont think we saw him on the field again. But I might be wrong.
There has got to be something else at play here. Something otherworldly is going on. The ways this team finds to implode is inexplicable.
I have a theory. It's the Bo Pelini Curse. Bo spent time at LSU. I think he became acquainted with Marie Laveau, the voodoo queen. Legend has it she lived in a swamp in a hollow log with a one-eyed snake and a three-legged dog. Mark paid her a visit after being dismissed by the University of Nebraska and asked for a favor. She acquiesced and the rest is history. This program needs to invite Mark and his brother Carl back to Memorial Stadium and honor them for the string of 9-win seasons accomplished under their leadership.
There is no other way to explain the unexplainable. There are lottery winners out there thinking "No, no way that just happened again. What are the odds? That is just crazy!"
I believe it is the curse of Bo. Lets think back to when we came from behind to beat OSU and the fans had booed the team at half time and a bunch had left. Remember the taping of Bos tirade after that game. During it he said "lets see how good they are after I'm gone" because I think he was already catching some heat and was expecting to get fired. Of course it didn't happen then but eventually did. And what has happened to Nebraska football since then? We haven't been very good. Maybe someone needs to contact Bo and VERY VERY kindly ask him to come back to the stadium and lift the curse. Maybe we name the goal post after him or we get a cat to roam the sidelines during games and we name the cat Bo. I dont know but we are cursed. Maybe its just the curse of firing two 9 win coaches. There has got to be something else at play here. Something otherworldly is going on. The ways this team finds to implode is inexplicable.
