It sure takes a lot of something to say whatever the hell comes to your mind.I like Bo, straight shooter. There's a level of honesty that's required to just say whatever comes to your mind.
Not to get all philosophical on a Sunday morning, but I see Bo as a classic example of the Law of Attraction, “You reap what you sow” kind of deals.I have mixed feelings about Bo. I get the leader MUST keep their cool in situations but it seemed he was getting jobbed a lot.
your kidding r ight?I like Bo, straight shooter. There's a level of honesty that's required to just say whatever comes to your mind. Also, he really cared about his guys- who else ever does class checks? heheh
Well maybe by 1 100dreth of a second. Nope the game was over. They stole it and they ruined the conference by other way as well. When the clock runs out and there isnt a penalty, the game is over. The ball hit the ground before the clock ran out, period. I'm sure they started it late at the snap and everyone wanted Texas to win, but with exact replay the ball hit the ground first.
Did the clock run out before the ball it the ground out-of-bounds? No.When the clock runs out and there isnt a penalty, the game is over.
I could be wrong , but I thought it hit a railing and that was the second back not the ground.....but its been a long timeDid the clock run out before the ball it the ground out-of-bounds? No.
But on the other hand, have I ever seen an out-of-bounds pass play in any CFB game where a second was put back on the clock afterwards? No.
IIRC, we kicked the ball out of bounds in 82 vs Penn State and again in 93 vs FSU and both of those also led to game winning drives for the other guysOne thing that is never brought up about the end of that game was our kick off. Adi had not kicked a ball out of bounds the whole season, until that one. Texass started at the 35 on that final drive. A touchback gives them extra yards to go which takes extra seconds and more time for Suh to keep eating bevos up like Fritos. Bad time for a bad kick off.
Thanks for the memories.IIRC, we kicked the ball out of bounds in 82 vs Penn State and again in 93 vs FSU and both of those also led to game winning drives for the other guys

It just shows he just totally doesn’t get it in the PR department. Still doesn’t know what he did wrong, didn’t care then and doesn’t now. Just in denial. No business being a head coach. And that stunt he pulled with the players after he was fired--pretty much unforgiveable.
Anyplace but Texass and that play was dead. As you said when did they start the clock. When the clock struck 0 the game was over period. No instant replay or any frevalous crap like that. Mack Brown and his finger and the Big 12 can rot in hell as far as Im concerned.Did the clock run out before the ball it the ground out-of-bounds? No.

Bo s biggest problem is called insanity.I haven't listened to the podcast yet but I plan on it sometime soon. With that, and some hindsight, a question and my thoughts..
I agree with the first part of ECH's post (more in a moment). However, please provide some documentation on what 'stunt' he pulled, exactly? From what I remember from reading the transcript, he had some choice words to say about Pearlman and Eichorst, but no derogatory words towards the program, Osborne, or the fans.
As far as hindsight - I was fine with replacing Pelini after the Wisc team gashed his team for the 2nd time in 1-2 yrs time. Something needed to change, and if he wasn't willing to get a good DC, then I was fine with replacing him.
Pelini's biggest problem was not giving 2 cents about PR. Was he and NU jobbed? Multiple times, but his tirades and his constantly distorted face just fed into it and it became a vicious cycle. Had he been willing to dial it back, early on, and play the PR game a little more, who's to say where the program would be? He still had defensive, offensive and recruiting issues to fix, but I still think that he has the capacity to be a great coach - he just has to take a couple of steps in the maturity department first.
Wait what? Dunbar in da house! Where you been man? Somebody cue up that Kotter song from the 70s.I haven't listened to the podcast yet but I plan on it sometime soon. With that, and some hindsight, a question and my thoughts..

Perlman and Eichorst were part of the program. Also, Bo made his feelings about the fans clear in the tape that was leaked to the press. Please provide some documentation on what 'stunt' he pulled, exactly? The fact that this year (10 years after entering the league)) is arguably the first season we have genuine B1G lines on both sides of the ball says otherwise. He still had defensive, offensive and recruiting issues to fix, but I still think that he has the capacity to be a great coach.
