You beat me too it. A gator alum I know just told me that Frost turned them down and Mullen is their man.
Another coming to fruition from the hints that ADBM gave out in his press conference. Talking about how the SEC eat their young and the early dismissing of coaches was a not so veiled reference to Florida and their firing of McElwain.
He probably used that against them in the discussions with Frost's people.

Funny thing is this has been the worst kept secret. Everyone knows there was no way Frost was going to Florida. The University and Frost's camp have tried very hard to keep this under wraps and the media has so many connections it just never stays under wraps.
He's not staying at UCF.
If UCF wins their CCG they'll go to a New Years 6 bowl game. If that's the case Frost will have maxed out the ceiling there. UCF (unless they gain entrance into a P5 conference) will never play for the National Title. Their schedule isn't strong enough to allow that to happen. This is why he won't stay at UCF for long. Coming home to Nebraska the sky is the limit at Nebraska. At least here he has a chance to play for a National Title. The evidence sure supports that statement.
