If you had asked me at the end of last season, I would have thought it was a no brainer, but now I'm curious.

Who does everything think we be the game one starter?

It was pretty clear AC was the best QB when I watched the Spring Game. TJ has good plays where his athletic ability shines - but he is inconsistent especially with his throws.

He shines on the field during practices. And I thought he was the best QB on the field spring game. I'm sure HCMRh is drinking in every word I type so case closed: AC is our starting QB.

I assume TJL is headed to the portal? Or is AC a one shot deal?

AC is a one shot deal--he's a senior. And TJL is still in the fold--and DK has returned to us from UVa.

Word has it that Raiola left town because he was butt-hurt from all your criticism--so Thank You! :)

I liked the kid but I'm glad he's gone. We'll be better on O without him. I thought we were getting Patrick Mahomes Junior and instead we got a Tanner Lee Reboot. :ack2:

I try to do my part.

I know it's petty and pathetic, but I hope he crashes and burns and never gets a sniff in the NFL.

The Temu Mahomes act got really old really quickly.

You're like an underappreciated Blackshirt, Ohio.

You do your part, time-after-time, yet others tend to zone you out. But THEN you end up making the key sack at the end of the game!!!

Let's be honest, he became a millionaire playing that card. Hell, I don't blame him.

I put that on me. I got bamboozled. I bought the Five-Stars, the HUDL vids, the arm strength, the side-arms, the national recruiting frenzy.

But looking back on it all, I don't recall anybody talk about his wheels. Do any of you? Without it, I watched Mahomes' running exploits and just assumed Dylan could motor just like Patrick.

That was on me too.

He was Ben Roethlisberger Lite without an understanding he was a big buck and needed to stand in there and make throws with guys flying at him. If he can learn to play like Big Ben he'll have a chance to play in the NFL. I don't think he's wired to do it.....wants to play like Mahomes but doesn't have the body or vision to do it.

Best comparison ever about Temu Mahome! Whenever you order from Temu, there are some epic fails.

AC will start against the Ohio Bobcats, but I hope TJL and DK are ready to go. I'm not sure how AC is going to hold up against B1G defenses. I think it's likely he'll miss at least a few games as the season progresses into conference play. I do think we have better depth at QB than we've had in quite a while.

I dunno, I've seen Colandrea at press conferences and dude looks like he's built like a brick sh^^house*.

His arms, particularly around the biceps, look more like what you would see on a LB or RB than a QB. And yeah, I think our depth at QB is better than it has been in an extremely long time.

* I also acknowledge that injuries can happen to any player at any time, just saying that Colandrea looks like he has a physique that will hold up to B1G play.
