Which Position Group is Strongest and Weakest for HUSKERS?

Last season the Husker OTs were embarrassingly bad in pass pro. I think Geep Wade, along with the players we've recruited, and brought in via the Portal, will fix the issue, but time will tell.
Here's another slant on the same subject, 99:

Maybe I've got selective memory but despite our OL's pass pro challenges, it seemed to me that we never did much rolling out with the QB. I suspected it was a DR thing.

Perhaps.

If the QB can run or scramble, there is some wiggle room for the OLine to have some breakdowns in Pass/Pro. Just can’t make a habit of it.

Elijah Pritchett was assessed at 73.1 in pass blocking snaps last year per PFF. That puts him above average in Power 5 conferences. FWIW
Turner Corcoran 45.8

The painful part about it from a coaching perspective is that he was one of the best tackles we had.

Was he though? I mean I know that's the oft quoted line, but I have immense difficulty believing that he was one of the best we had because for that to be true, I have to trust Donovan Raiola's evaluation and he was clearly a terrible coach. I think they kept Corcoran out there because he had the most "experience" not because he was the best we had. Well, it's a moot point now as, thankfully, he ran out of eligibility last season.

Big and nasty are the two words I want to here when referring to our line this season.

Agree!

Fans are wringing their hands about our defense (FYI, I believe they'll surprise us.) But everybody needs to keep in mind that with a few SIGNIFICANT exceptions, most of Osborne's defenses weren't stellar. But they held up for Top Ten-level seasons in part because they were protected by big and nasty OLs that controlled the time of possession.

Worried about your defense? Keep them off the field. An offense that chews up the clock by repeatedly marching down the field and scoring is a defense's best friend. If your offense scores 30+ points a game and your defense only has to manage 6 or so possessions they will be much more successful.
