Where are they now

So he excelled at the position frost wanted to move him to, the position his brother blew a gasket over (and made an ass of himself on social media ) a position we needed him at.

I'm glad the charges against him were dropped and I'm VERY happy Mickey looks to be getting a HC opportunity at a historic football school.

I'm never gonna condon domestic violence. But in retrospect, a non-life threatening, physical altercation between a distraught husband and his unfaithful wife seems like the safest outlet for all their high emotions in this gun-toting and gun-using world we live in.

I would think going for a run would be a far safer outlet. It’s also legal, and doesn’t make me lose respect for someone.

Did he really do it? Charges were dropped.
IIRC, there were others in the room, so this wasn’t a “he said she said” situation. Charges get dropped for all kinds of reasons, many of which involve money.

I'm not disagreeing with you. No question that would have been the best response. But humans are humans. Nobody is perfect---and imagine the emotions running through a guy like Mickey who's had his world suddenly -- and shockingly -- collapse around him.

There's that too.

If I was Mrs. Joseph's lawyer and looking to get more $$$$ for my client than just child support, I'd have played up the "my client feared for her life" line too. Her conduct put her in a tough position in divorce proceedings. Mickey's angry response gave her some much-needed leverage.

Listen, I'm not a pro-domestic violence neanderthal. I just think ol' Mick was Done Dirty and his emotion-filled, initial response was never intended to be attempted murder.

I think you have this backwards. By pressing charges, she might be killing any future earnings that he will make. And if she planned on staying, THAT would hurt her and any kids long term even more than getting strangled.
