What is the best car you have ever owned?

Coolest looking: 67 Cougar
Overall: 86 Buick Century. The sole reason is I was in Michigan and it was in the middle of a huge snowstorm. I was at a stop sign, and got hit in the front driver's side by a lady who was going at least 40. My head broke the window, I spun around 732 times (probably 2 or 3). All I could think to do was get the car to the side of the road. I sat there with blood all over my face and it started right up and drove to the side of the road with no problem.

I had 1999 Toyota Camry V-6 5-speed until last year that we bought new. Was at about 265K on the mileage when the clutch went out for the 2nd time. Just was not worth fixing it with that many miles - really good car in terms of reliability - I sold it to a shade tree mechanic that fixed the clutch and some other issues so he could sell it. Not a spot of rust on it or even a small tear in the leather seats.

Which is why I am driving a 2009 Camry V-6 (automatic)......no more new cars for me. Too dang expensive. A new truck.....like making a house payment. No thanks.

I have a 2009 Chevy Silverado Z71 LTZ...That has been awesome...Regular maintenance and oil changes. Teaching my daughter to drive and she mashed the gas and hit the curb at 50MPH pretty much solidified getting my from end suspension redone but other than that it’s been great!

Any of the 4 Corvette's we have driven over the years. Gas mileage sucks but they are so darn much fun to drive that you don't really care.

As far as best working vehicle I've had, hands down it's our HHR panel truck. Put the passenger seat down and it holds a 6 foot ladder so just a great utility vehicle. Not a sexy vehicle like any of the vette's but at some point you need a work vehicle.
