Maybe I'm just a little too gullible, but when HCMR and ADSE talk about Nebraska football, I believe them. Maybe it is just saying the right things, but I don't feel that way. I feel the effort is sincere, even though misdirected at times. I'm on board. GBR

I 100% agree with your thoughts on this. But, at some point...our (meaning us, the fans) faith and patience has got to be rewarded with actual on the field results.

I won't argue against that point.

Sure it's most important to get the players to believe first then show the fans they are for real and get them on board quickly and then when all this is done the powers that be and the talking head media type's will start trying to pick us apart.....And this is just the initial front of the storm.....Then after showing all the mainstream media we are for real ......Then....And only then will our stock in the R E S P E C T dept. rise and rightfully so.

I know there are those of you who are saying to yourself "Doc your worse than a fish out of water with all the flip flopping your doing here" but to that I will point out I was originally one of Coach Riley's biggest skeptics

I think Riley is sincere - about meeting people. He loves that part of being a Div. 1 head coach. The 'meet and greet' or 'smoozing'. You combine that with the notion that previous head coaches for NU either haven't liked it as much, or weren't good at it, going back, arguably to Devaney and he's reaping the rewards.
