We OWN SPARTY!!!! Ha Ha Ha

The most egregious non call was the late hit out of bounds on Morgan. He was literally .beyond the 2 yard buffer zone on the sideline when he was hit. My throw down jacket was on the floor and I was pointing and screaming at the tv screen on that one.

I was in the car on the way to the Vet's Club when that happened. I thought Davison was going to come completely unglued on that one!

I watch the game with my radio headphones on and got a chuckle out of Davison's call on that play. He shared with his radio audience what happened and then said in a deadpan voice, 'I explained this so you'd understand why you're hearing the deafening booing in the background.'

I was chuckling pretty good at that point. They were not happy campers about the non calls since Morgan was so far out of bounds. I seriously thought Davison was going to come through the radio he was so furious that MSU didn't get called.

My niece's siggo watched the tail end of the game with me. He was really torqued about the officiating. I shared my theory that we are still being penalized for Bo Pelini's bad behavior. He agreed that is likely the case.

When you see such blatantly obvious officiating miscues, it's easy to assume something suspicious is going on.

I think the more likely scenario it that when you're a 3-7 team, you're more likely to get 11 AM starting times and the conference's worst officiating crews.

There shouldn't be a bad officiating crew in the B1G. The worst should at least be competent

The other bad no call was the hit on a defenseless receiver that was nowhere near the ball and right in front of an official.

Exactly. I lost it on that one. Such a joke...and then for the commentators to make some snarky remark about crowd booing and saying something like, "this is big boy football"

Umm...no...that was crap b/c I guarantee we would have been called on that.

That is actually punk wannabe football.
If you cant take it, dont dish it out, regardless of the refs.
Like I said in the game thread, break their legs

Two obvious bad calls also was the no call pass interference on Morgan in the end zone when we were on the 4 yard line, and then the horrible pass interference called on Lamar Jackson. Both came in the 4th quarter.

I've said this for years, since Eric Crouch almost got his head torn off by K-State with no penalty call.

Great teams win in spite of bad officiating. That is what we saw yesterday. A great team stepped up and found the will to win despite the officials doing everything they could to thwart it!
