Upper Deck Golf @ Memorial Stadium

Here's the rub. Part of my disdain for Tiger was because I golf left-handed and was always a huge fan of Smiling Phil Mickelson, his biggest rival. Turns out I spent 20 years cheering for the one golfer that was a bigger A-hole than Tiger! :ashamed0001:

If you wanted a lefty to cheer for, why not Bubba Watson. Never cared for Phil. Always thought he was an A-hole.

I cheered for all the lefties, but Phil stood the best chance of beating the womanizing, steroid using drug addict that threatened innocent lives every time he got behind the wheel of a car. What's curious is I acknowledge my poor judgement and now loathe Phil every bit as much as I did Tiger. There are many that still hold Tiger in high regard despite his indiscretions that far exceed Phil's.

What's happened to the sport?

They just don't make 'em like former champ, Angel Cabrera anymore. :(
He may look much older, but AC is the same age as Phil, and just a few years older than Tiger. They all played in the same era. The better question is "What's happened to society?"

Honestly I started watching Golf in 99 or 2000 when Tiger was tearing it up. And it was because he was a different type of golfer. He brought the fans, money, etc. He made every other golfer on the planet richer. Since he's been gone I rarely care to watch it. He would attempt and make impossible shots. Shots no one else would even attempt to make.
Yeah, Tiger got me interested in watching golf. Michelle Wie as well. That woman was incredible when she was a teenager.

I was naturally left handed but was advised to learn to play golf right-handed.

It was my "go-to" excuse for why I was such a shi**y golfer.

This made me chuckle, Doc. I'm naturally right-handed but my old man taught me to bat left-handed as a kid. The swing always felt more natural from that side. I've golfed left-handed for 40 years. Moronically, Jerk Mickelson is naturally right-handed who golfs left as well.
