I think we just may see more freshmen, redshirt frosh and soph's on the field this season than we have in a very long time.

I think this is the first time we've had this many guys in a recruiting class that are D1 ready as freshmen.
I hope you are right. But, are they really B1G ready or are they just looking good in practice?

This is just my estimation, but I would say that these guys are all physically ready for B1G play:
Wandale
Benhart
Ty
Chase
Rahmir
Nelson
Hannah
Piper
Gates
I'd add Reimer,Jurgens,Buddha,Newsome and maybe one or two more.
Difference this year from last is SnC,a season or two in, no one has advantage over anyone else in the system, which has shown year two set in.
I saw where something like 34 guys have left, no wonder we'll be much faster, we don't have all that dead weight to push ,no distractions from the goal anymore.
I really like that Frost cleaned house of players who didn't fit for whatever reason. I suspect he'll do that each year. It won't be long before we go two or three deep at every position with talent everywhere. Then Nebraska will really be back.
