There was a lot of stuff not called ok the Canes last night. Namely that targeting call.

Here's the crazy thing. If you saw the last drive of the game, you saw Indiana flagged for a late hit on Beck that was a bang bang play with a clean hit to keep Miami hopes alive. Meanwhile Miami was getting an additional 2-3 steps to really load up and lay the lumber to Mendoza. The refs swallowed their whistles all night when it came to Mendoza getting rocked. He might be a little awkward in interviews, but that young man is a gamer.I was only able to watch the last part of the 4th quarter. I was actually thinking with that short viewing time that the NCAA was not going to let Indiana win. Then I saw the replays of the hits the officials allowed on Mendoza and was more surprised Indiana won.
"Supposedly"...Is this the Miami side of the story? This sounds like a classic case of finding an excuse for abhorrent behavior. Think about it. You have just won a national championship, your teammates are celebrating all over the field, awesome vibes everywhere, and you decide to call out an opponent's dead father as part of the celebration? Makes no sense. I'm not buying it unless I hear the actual audio. More than likely it's a Miami player doing what Miami players do.While doing that post game is textbook Caines being thugs - supposedly an open mic caught the IU player say something about Fletcher's dead dad.....so he may have had a good reason to react. Either way - I'm sure his car traveling mom is very proud of him.
I did see it and you are right. Here's the crazy thing. I had given you a like until that respect miami line , then I wanted to give u the finger . But that’s just meIt was to me. I thought Indiana would blow the Canes out.
But time after time, Miami kept coming back after numerous Indiana plays that would have knocked the stuffing out of lesser teams--especially the Hoosers' blocked punt for a TD.
All the way up until the Hoosers' last minute interception, it looked to me like Miami was posed to come-from-behind to win in the final seconds.
As a life-long Miami hater, they earned a hell of a lot of respect from me last night.

Like for the gratuitous "finger" remark!I had given you a like until that respect miami line , then I wanted to give u the finger . But that’s just me![]()
