Time to return as a poster....Matt Rhule Thoughts

[aztonick]

Ever since the firing of Solich, Nebraska kept making the wrong hires after wrong hires from the athletic director to head coach to assistant coaches.

For the first time since the day Solich was fired, I think Nebraska finally has made the right hires. Hiring Trev Alberts is what has allowed the "right" head coach to be hired. There are other coaches like Matt Rhule, but the profile is what Nebraska has always needed since Solich was fired.

We will see what reality becomes in the future, but for the first time I feel good about the future of Nebraska since Solich was fired.

I was excited about the hiring of Scott Frost and then he brought his whole staff with him from recruiting assistants and up. that was the first sign of how dumb and lazy he was.

Matt Rhule will put together a big time staff.

Great to see you back here posting, aztonick!

One sign of 'the profile' Rhule brings to the program is the fact that ESPN featured an interview with him this morning on College Gameday.

Say what you will about ESPN, this was the first indication that this will be considered a big-time hire across the nation.

Granted, the REAL deal is how everybody feels about the hire three years from now. But I'm encouraged about our program's future with Rhule at the helm.
