I took my sail boat to alaska few years back, as remote as you can get but I had cell service all the way to Ketchikan from Victoria and it was very good.I can relate. Our vacations often take us where there is no cell service. While not self imposed, we are "connection free" for periods of time. It's bliss......until we get home. We then need to play catch-up with all the things that should have been done when we were at play. It's worth it tho.....keeps my wife and I sane......well, mostly.
Glad to see you have your priorities right.....family first.....always. I do hope you can pop in from time to time and keep us informed.
