I rarely go to live sporting events and greatly prefer to watch them on television. Going to Husker games provides a good reminder why.

We went to the Maryland game a couple of weeks ago. The seating st Memorial was appalling. The rows are way too close together. No one over 5'8" or so could possibly be comfortable in those seats.

We went to the volleyball game earlier today at Devaney. Same problem. Just a complete nightmare. I am unusually tall, but even average sized people were clearly uncomfortable.

So what gives? Ticket prices are high enough to expect far more comfortable seating. Fans deserve better.

Continued results under Rhule may open up some room in the stadium.

Seriously yes event seating isn't the best. I get it for heavy people like me it sucks but seating isn't going to get bigger. No sure how they change it for taller people either.

The coach is going to fix uncomfortable seating for us tall freaks?
IMO a big part of the fan experience is being able to enjoy watching the game. A large part of that is by our team winning ball games. If you don't win games it's not going to matter what the spacing between the seats and rows are if people get fed up and stop coming to games. However outside of that every seat should be chair back with enough spacing between rows and seats. Also need to have better cell phone connectivity, etc.
