The pr!ck (his words not mine) has officially met that standard. His style of offense of slow-developing plays, run or pass, has cost this team another game. EVERYBODY knows how to defend this bafoon, but in his years of knowledge and experience, he knows best. The first 2 drives of quick passes, quick-hitting runs, and misdirection produced 10 points. The next 5 drives of his typical offense resulted in 5 3 and outs and punts. Every game the team scores less and less and the offense resembles a train wreck. His offense is an embarrassment and his inability to get HIS QB ready to play is inexcusable. Scott Frost is laughing his ass off right now knowing he has the last laugh.

This season is finished for me as long as the ass hat controls the offense. He needed to be replaced during the last bye week but is still employed which probably cost MJ his chance of landing this job. As long as this super genius is the OC, I will not watch, he is that pathetic in my opinion.

I say start fresh with new staff. Let new coach have full rein. Need total rebuild.

We are all entitled to a good rant. But how is Scott Frost getting the last laugh? He single-handedly bedowngraded this program to depths most of us have not seen in our lifetimes. And it was he that brought Whip to Lincoln. Whip being a failure as OC is yet another gift that keeps on giving. Courtesy of FHCSF.

Frost should be D punched for what he did to this program. Whipple can sit there while a scripted offense works. But as soon as he takes the reigns, it's crap.

There is so much wrong with this program, past and present, that it's going to take a miracle worker to figure it out. I do not envy the person who is tasked with straightening this dumpster fire out.

I try to stay upbeat/optimistic about the state of Husker football but I really wonder sometimes if we aren't past the point of no return. :Iono3:

Look at a program like Kansas, they have been cellar dwellers longer than we have and Leipold has them 6-3 and beating ranked teams. We have equal or better facilities and resources (NIL) than probably at least 85% of the schools in the country. If we can get the right coach in here there is no reason we cannot rise from the ashes and be a consistent top 25 (at least) team that competes for the B1G West (or whatever it is going to be called) and wins it at least every few years. There is absolutely no excuse for the drought we have been in.

Frost was literally stuck in a rut. Whipple runs a scheme that is sound and players are just failing at because its year one. Purdy, granted, is never going to be the guy at this rate. Some kids just can't grow a pair at this level. After the first hard hit this kid is just done. But the scheme itself, if it was executed, would be slashing and gnashing the B1G defenses. We lack a poised backup QB and continue to run slow witted OL and are getting the expected results.

You can not continue to call plays that lose yards every time they are called, like the delayed handoff to Grant... every time I saw it tried yesterday it lost 1-2 yds. When they called the hit the hole quickly it gained 4 or more. The line is not capable of running slow-developing plays. He needs to scrap his play sheet that has the 20 plays that rarely work and draw up a new one. He is not the sharpest crayon in the box. When the quick passes and misdirection were called, THEY WORKED, and 10 points... Then the crayon point went dull and so did his brain... back to plays that rarely work and six straight 3 and out. This is not a player problem, this is a coaching problem that can not transform into his player's needs. If he were to call plays to the strength of players instead of to his ego, there would be 2 more wins on the record.

If your scheme includes 5 step drops with Purddy, your scheme is not sound. You work with what you have, not what you'd like to have. If you are unable to adjust, you are not a good coach.
