I don't expect heads to roll. Don't pretend to know if Dana or Matt should be fired. Just know something is wrong with the Huskers. Still think a lot of it is a "culture" problem but I could be full of you know what.

I actually have a friend who has given up on Nebraska football. His brother was a prominent player at NU and he and I had been co-fans for many years, both of us pretty much living and dying by how the weekend went. He's told me he has completely given up on the football team and this happened a while back. He said NU and given him hope and then dashed it one too many times. I haven't talked to him in a while, but I don't think he even watches the games anymore, He might be a volleyball fan; not sure.

Attention to detail. For starters, the idiot Holgorsen in the first pic Chris posted is wearing a f^cking Nike hat. This team is sponsored by Adidas. Some may think this is nothing but it really is. I'm so tired of that smug SOB calling out players for not "manning up" in big moments while he calls these sh!t games for the offense.

Honestly Rhule should have told that idiot to take that hat off. Do you know how much Adidas gives to this program and the big name OC is wearing a Nike hat on the sidelines?

And if that's a file photo of Holgorsen and not one from last night's game it doesn't change the fact that he sucks at playcalling.

Part of me thinks this is the game the wheels fall off and they lose by 20.
I don't think the defense let's that happen but I'm afraid the offense will be a no show Friday.

You mean like the last 3 games?
I was willing to forgive the Indiana game as they were the defending national champs. But Oregon and Washington were even worse. 3 touchdowns is all we needed to win both games. Should have been over long before the 4th quarter.

Since Locksley was fired at Maryland, I do believe Coach Matt is the worst coach in the B1G. Think of the bottom feeders. Purdue has a convincing victory against Minnesota, who beat Iowa. Washington has victories over Illinois and Purdue. Michigan State with first year coach Fitzy is not doing well, but he had a track record of beating some pretty good teams at NW. Penn State has a victory over Purdue, and Campbell can use the first year coach excuse. I guess Schiano at Rutgers might be in the conversation, but his NIL budget is about 55% of what Coach Matt gets in Lincoln. Can you name a coach who has accomplished less than Matt Rhule with a 10-year career record to examine?

Just don't know what to say about it. f Disconcerting as all get out and really frustrated that Rhule was given a huge salary increase, which is making it more difficult to terminate and pay that outrageous buyout. When will the Administration EVER learn about that crap?
