But....how about if they play The Macarena or perhaps a spicy Spanish salsa dance?
I just saw Genatone is done for the rest of the year and Mozee likely won't be available for Washington. Rule didn't play a good chunk of the Oregon game because he re-injured himself - but could be available after the bye week. That leaves Nelson, Ives and I guess Booth if we run out of bodies.
Two thoughts:
1) Polymarket and its ilk should be outlawed.
2) If we go 4-1 or better down the home stretch, we're in.
Key takeaways
- Best Offensive Player – Anthony Colandrea: Senior QB leads NU with 270+ yards/game and 2+ touchdowns/game, accounting for over 80% of recent offense.
- Best Defensive Player – Andrew Marshall: Senior CB allows just 8 receptions on 27 targets, with 21 tackles, 5 pass breakups, and 1 interception, earning midseason All-American honors.
- Biggest Risers & Fallers: -
- Offense Riser – Kwazi Gilmer: Junior WR with 492 yards and 7 TDs, establishing himself as NU's WR1. -
- Offense Faller – Nyziah Hunter: Senior WR struggles with only 16 receptions for 116 yards, down from last season’s production. -
- Defense Riser – Jahsear Whittington: Junior DL becomes a key player with 14 tackles, 3½ sacks, and a forced fumble. -
- Defense Faller – Danny Odem: Freshman CB underperforms relative to high expectations.
