Speculation on Dylan’s Future

Don’t sleep on Illinois, BB loves to beat Nebraska and they have us there on a Friday night no less. Washington is better than any team we have faced so far but we have them at home on Halloween.

A Big Ten team and future Nebraska opponent has made a coaching change. Illinois fired defensive coordinator Bobby Hauck on Sunday.

Hauck was in his first season with the program after replacing Aaron Henry. Henry left Illinois to join Notre Dame's staff. Hauck previously coached at the University of Montana.

Head coach Bret Bielema brought in Hauck in hopes of revamping the Illinois defense. However, the Fighting Illini were struggling to adjust to the new 3-3-5 defense.

I also want to point out that after we play Indiana, we have 6 remaining regular season games and four of them are on the road.
Yep. Glad you pointed that out. Also the reason I was very happy we won at MSU. To be a good team we have win on the road. Hopefully this past win will build confidence for the remaining road wins. Those are actually sweeter than the home wins.

To put this quote from Coach in context: Rhule was specifically asked at the tail end of his Monday presser whether he caught Dylan's second half in the UO-USC game after ours and what he thought of DR's performance?

Coach answered no, he didn't see it. His nonverbals said he wasn't particularly thrilled to be talking about it and his follow-up comments were as politically correct as possible. For anybody wondering, there will be absolutely NO bulletin board material before the Oregon game coming from our head coach.

And rest assured, the players will all be instructed to follow his lead.

Ruthless. He wants to be DC anyway, I suppose.

I agree. Going into someone else's house, just walk in, raid their fridge, take their beer, kiss their wife, and do it right in front of them. Then beat them up before you leave. Nothing like it.

Yep exactly. No distractions for the road team either. No recruits to have to host, no local media up in your face, etc, etc.

Dylan doing his best to make my Saturday just a little bit better. 5/17, 38 yards, one INT and one fumble right now. All along I thought the Oline made DR look bad. Right now, I'm thinking he makes the Oline look bad with his slow decision making and sloth like movement.
