SEC trying to poach AC?

OK, I'll try another analogy-
Elderly couple spend $140 a week on groceries. Wife insists on doing all the cooking, despite constant offers to help from the husband. Wife doesn't follow written recipes, it's all from memory. Unfortunately her memory isn't what it used to be and ingredients and cooking time snafus result in a lot of unsatisfactory meals. She says it's a money problem that can be fixed by increasing the budget to $200/week.
We are currently in the "haves" half of the B1G. But we don't play like an above average B1G team.
What do you think our chances of beating Washington would be if AC was out and TJ didn't get to the field until the 4th quarter? Danny K is a good guy but he hasn't passed TJ and AC is way, way ahead.
This talk of poaching is midseason fear-mongering.
I could be wrong, but I'm not.
I get it, like Rhule leaks information to the media that he isnt intereseted in the Perve State job which was open and they at Perve have not offered it to MR and dont need another .500 coach and know that he is just pandering for a pay raise. Our staff immediately gets a package together to save NU and football i e a payraise for him. We should have told them they can have him and lower the buy out for Perve State.

Apparently the parents of a well known B1G QB are contacting SEC teams about potential transfer opportunities. Initially - the rumor was this was somehow AC10.......but sounds like it is Bryce Underwood - I guess he didn't like getting benched.

What PDog is trying to say can also be a golf analogy.

Matt Rhule is playing a 3-year-old Ping 430 driver and can't break 100. Two of his golfing buddies just paid over $600 for the new Callaway Quantum Max and they both shotted a 98 in the last two weeks. Coach Matt thinks if he can invest in the new Callaway Quantum Max he too will improve his golfing game. Problem is deep down inside his loins he knows he still isn't breaking a hundy, but maybe he can convince others that's what he needs to get over the hunch.

I played Yahoo fantasy golf for a couple years - my team name was Stiff Shaft and Titanium Balls......maybe Rhule just needs to upgrade his balls.....for golf.
