Scott needs to take ownership of this year

Scott needs to relate why things unfolded as they did, AND what he is going to do to fix it.

Scott is going to be back. I have a feeling most, if not all, his staff will be back. So what will change. Now is the time to field answers, and give direction on what will be done to fix it.

I am tired of the revolving coaching carousel here, so we need to have the coaches we have come to grips with what needs to be done. They need to grow into what it will take to win in the BIG. They can forget about UCF and Oregon.....and whatever. They need to start from scratch and fix things now.

Not sure how us fans can expect a huge upside for next year...unless they have been hiding a large group of 5 star redshirts or we have 20 plus difference makers coming in. The staff alone and their inability to submit a great game plan, take the chances needed to win a big game and manage the overall tempo of the game I don’t see a huge improvement next year but I do see us bowling at 6-6 or 7-5 at best.

changing mindsets is not easy. changing habits is not easy. and you cant just cut everyone you won't have a team. things are and will get better. these guys didn't throw it in like under MR . they fought. so the team has a pulse and a chance

True. But I'm also not the one childishly throwing in the towel after year two.

This program was an utter mess when Coach Frost took over. You're expecting him him to come in, wave a f-ing magical wand, and make everything better. That's not the way it works.

Is Coach Frost the answer? I don't f-ing know. But I'll tell you what I do know, I'm going to give him four full years before I make any decision.

And if we fire Coach Frost as you are not so slyly suggesting, you will doom Nebraska football to become the new Kansas State. Because if we fire Coach Frost, even after three years, the only coaches we will be able to get are mercenaries who don't give a sh__ about this program. They'll come here for the quick easy money and leave as millionaires.

Tfree, you're obviously a smart guy, but it amazes me at how utterly short-sighted you are.

Let's give Coach Frost the time he needs to fix this this mess. Then, after year four we're still seeing crap like this, THEN we start discussing possible changes.

To make any changes, to even talk about making any changes at this point is beyond short-sighted.
