Holgorsen made a really strange remark about Hayes a few days ago while discussing the RB room. Paraphrasing but it was something to the effect that Hayes was running around not knowing what he was doing yet. There appeared to be a culture clash.
Say what you want about Coach Rhule, he doesn't put up with any entitled attitude BS.Hearing Tikey had a crappy attitude once he arrived and realized his place on the depth chart.

Tow the line or you're shown the door.

That would qualify as "pretty serious" that I mentioned in a post on Page 2 of this thread.
Does anyone have any update?
I quite agree. It sends a message to the team that the Sheriff in town now isn't going to play that game. Good move Coaches!I see this as a positive for the program. The team has standards and if you are obviously unprepared to uphold them, you are gone. It can be a team building effect where the exclusivity of NU football creates cohesiveness.
I don't think there was anyone on this board who didn't cringe at the thought of Nelson 'beating up' his pregnant GF. But we soon learned that:Are we all going to ignore Mekhi Nelson taking his day out on his pregnant girlfriend?
Yeah, I know. "Charges dropped."
I think the majority of us feel it was his girlfriend's fault for talking to the police. Are we all going to ignore Mekhi Nelson taking his day out on his pregnant girlfriend?

I thought I heard the cops got involved because of the noise they were making in their room. It wasn't a Super 8, it was a high-class hotel.I think the majority of us feel it was his girlfriend's fault for talking to the police.
Am I wrong?
