I guess he never impressed me there. It was readily apparent he misnamed about everything in football from a technical side. I got a few vacations there by linking to examples what his 'lingo' actually meant, especially when it involved very specific language. I cannot believe he would make such big mistakes if he was on a staff, attended coaching seminars, or played. While there are many schools of thought, his didn't align well with any trends or specific persons. He kind of hit me as a Madden guy. Don't believe everything you read from the internet.

That guy is as good of poster I've read on any board...if it is all as he stated, then I wish he would post here.
I can say that one of those Riley guys talked about stated that he didn't think Frost would be back and the
part about the money was dead on to what this guy wrote about.

There are so many what ifs anymore. It will be the what if that is the least likely to happen that happens. I will laugh if they get crushed by OSU and then come back and beat both Wisconsin and Iowa by 20.

My feeling is the powers that be (and Trev Alberts is at the bottom of that group), want Frost back. They are looking for any way to justify it. They are not asking if Frost should be back, but, how they can get the people of Nebraska to buy it. Unless you're a bottom feeder in a power 5 conference, what he's done here gets you thrown out on your ear. He's had the hottest seat in CFB pretty much all year and has done nothing to get off it. Are the powers that be willing to give up on Nebraska being a top 25 type blueblood?
When Frost comes back next year, he will have a once every ten years softest schedule. He'll win maybe 6 games and we'll be told how right we were to keep him. Here's your extension to help recruiting. Pretty good for one winning season as a head coach. If he comes back (barring three solid defeats) we'll end up with a decade of HCSF. Hunchie said it in jest, but it's possible. By 2026 we can be Illinois- crowds of 35000 people.

Very Good Article, he lays out somethings we as fans just aren't privy too, what goes on behind the scenes can sink a good team, It also indirectly validates what an ex Special Team Analyst told me and my son...that the day to day & coaching staff is a clusterphuck.

People can enjoy him all they want. The same thing he did at Maxx will likely not happen here. He upset the little cliche that the website owner runs with during the season and they turned on him hard. I didn't say he's a bad guy, I just know he's a story writer. It's all good.
