Oregon vs. Nebraska - B1G Tournament

[HuskersNC949597]

Fly ball to Moyer, pretty deep so the runner tags, 2 outs.

[HuskersNC949597]

I'm way off. Only 1 out. Also there was a walk, so man at first as well.

[HuskersNC949597]

Fly out to Moyer again, runner tags and scores. Now there are 2 outs.

[HuskersNC949597]

Pop up to Grego, inning over. Bottom of the 9th, 8-0 Oregon.

[HuskersNC949597]

Oregon brings in their 3rd pitcher of the night.

[HuskersNC949597]

Carey pounds it up the middle, but they have him scouted, easy play for the 2B, 1 out.

[HuskersNC949597]

Sanderson hits one up the middle, but this time Oregon is not in a shift, base hit.

[Son of Charlie]

[HuskersNC949597]

Buettenback pinch hits for Grego and manages to do even worse than Drew had been doing, and that says something. Grounds into a game-ending double play. Huskers not only lose, they look utterly inept in so doing. 8-0 final. Way to enter regionals with momentum

SMH. They got absolutely smoked. Wonder how this will affect them mentally now going forward.

Hopefully the committee cares more about ticket sales and still rewards a 40+ winner with a regional. They'll slap some 4 seed around like they've done the last two years and everyone will beg Dannen to give Bolt a huge raise (I'm perfectly fine with extending his contract for seasons like this, but no raise.)

UCLA wins the tournament on an 11th inning, walk-off HBP. Eat it, Ducks

[ATX_Husker]

That is 3 walk offs in a row for UCLA
