** Official Huskers vs Illinois Game Thread**

I'll say it like this. Right to yer face. Everybody I know of knows you can't keep a blueblood down for more than 24 years. State law. The Road to Domination starts today, and Illinois is the first speed bump.

Glad you started it, I've been out getting my honey-do errands done so I can have the rest of the day for football. Snacks and beverages are ready for game time!

I'm hoping to cure my game day nerves by going into the kitchen and making some sourdough bread in a few minutes. I just always have to stay busy, unless the game is going real well.

Then, worst case scenario, we'll have two gorgeous loaves of sourdough bread for consolation.

I just pulled the pork butt off the smoker. Yea, its still way early. So I'm going to let it marinade in the crock pot for another 4 or 5 hours.

Somehow putting sourdough loaves above a Husker loss boggles the mind. It better be the best damed bread in the world is all I can say. :)

Dude, off my case. Sorry I'm not a good enough fan for you.

I never said it was above a loss. I said it was consolation should the Huskers lose.

And, for the record, it is damn good bread I don't know about best damned bread but it's damned good.

All food being discussed must be shared with all posters.
Doorbell isn't very loud, so knock on the door.

Sbarro's Pizza at the airport may be our only option today. Maybe I'll wait for some home cookin' in Seattle...do they have Taco Bell in Seattle? Or maybe a Chipolte?
