Well, if they are going to do this, let's go back to what we know worked here. Let's be the best damn "punch you in the mouth" ******* group of bad asses in the conference. Enough with experiments. Find the best guy to run that type of program.

Be careful what you wish for with elk hunting. It's a blast but extremely difficult with a low success rate. It's not like deer where they have their usual territory and you can find one pretty easy. It sounds like Doc has it too easy with his elk. If he was going into a canyon and had the elk bagged in a couple hours it sounds like he keeps elk leashed up.

Nope All the trophy's we hunt are free ranging wild Elk herds.....this ain't my first rodeo and I do my homework. This particular herd was moving in and out of this canyon about every 2-3 days.....and we just happened to hit it on the right day no big secret just hard work and luck.

Walden, 79, watched from the Pacific Northwest last Saturday night as the Buckeyes handed Nebraska its worst home loss in a conference tilt since 1949. The coach-turned-radio personality has a foot in both Cornhuskers and Cougars camps: Walden was a graduate assistant in Lincoln under Bob Devaney in 1969 and 1970 and an assistant under Devaney in 1971 and 1972. He joined the Washington State staff as an assistant 1977 and coached Wazzu from 1978 to 1986.

“Scott Frost is going to have to make a decision. It’ll be him or Chip Kelly,” Walden continued. “I’m sorry to be the voice of doom for Mike Riley, which I hate, because I happen to think the world of him.”

And he’s been there, several times over. But 3-4 is 3-4. And 11-10 — Riley’s record in the Big Ten — is 11-10.

When Huskers fans are leaving at halftime, as chunks did on Saturday, Big Red fans have already voted with their feet. And hearts.

“Make no bones about it,” Walden said. “[When] the new A.D. gets the job, one of the requirements of the new job is, ‘When you come here, will you fire the coach?’ And the answer better be, ‘Yes,’ or he’s not going there.”

I sincerely hope the new head football coach is NOT Chip Kelly. Bill Moos talked a lot about "fit" at his press conference and I don't think Kelly is a "fit" here. That being said, finding a football coach who can return this program to where we want it to be...that matters far more than my notions of him.

I believe we need to be open-minded to different styles of offense--honestly, I'm ok with something with spread concepts and a throw first/mobile QB---Chip Kelly would be an interesting hire--and would get the immediate attention of a lot of high-profile recruits--just give him (or anyone else) the $$ to hire the best defensive staff available--honestly, I think I miss a real blackshirt defense more than a dominant running game

I promised my source to keep it to myself until it becomes ofish but the coaches name rhymes with Lob Scoops. That's all I can say right now because I don't want to break the trust of this most reliable informant. I'll try and share more info as it becomes available as long as I'm certain I did not spill the beans or jeopardize the process. Please don't start prying for more info because I am a man of my word.

I am just saying, Lob and Scoop is a Field Hockey term. Just want to make sure we are talking about the same sport. Or is there a darker side to whats happening?

I'm sorry, but you are being way to cryptic here. I was confused the the Lob stuff, (my first thought was Saban is leaving bama?) and then you added this school... lost me.
