If you EVER get the opportunity to visit with Bill Moos you really should, it's like hanging around a small country town local convenience store or Cafe where all the older Farmers are talking Husker Football over their cups of coffee and homemade cinnamon rolls, or Kolace's (sp)( it's a Polish Pastry I think with fruit filling that's very popular in the North East and North Central part of Rural Nebraska).....anyway if you spend anytime with him at all you real quick get the sense that he always says what is politically Correct....but does so with tongue in cheek, get what I'm saying.?....it's like he says some things and gives you a little wink.....but in his case it's that little look over his glasses and devilish grin that tells you tons......without a single word.
One things for sure.....he won't EVER say something to embarrass the University or Teams or State of Nebraska.....that much you can take to the bank!

I’m sure the recruits see the school fighting hard for their athletes. At the same time, they are seeing the school getting stopped cold in its tracks by the conference. This seems like a net loss IMO.
Although I do think a participation trophy is warranted for the effort.
