I feel much better about the Huskers after watching the first half of the Border War between KU and Mizzou. Ugh.

Norvell will be fired next Sunday most likely. Seminoles are not done taking scalps.
Norvell has a history of being a pretty good coach. For some reason it just hasn't translated at FSU - well he built it up to the great 13-1 season in 2023 but that team lost a ton of talent. Navigating NIL and portal waters hasn't proven to be something Norvell has done well. See Dabo for a 2nd example of the same problem. I don't know the details on NIL funding for both schools - maybe they are coming up short at FSU and Clemson......but I suspect the problem is poor player evaluation. You look at what Cignetti is doing at IU - that is the exact opposite of FSU and Clemson. Cignetti is killing it with (I would guess) a similar NIL budget. But he knows what guys he wants and is able to get them to come to Bloomington, IN.
Anybody watching UCF dismantling Houston? 17-0 in the third quarter. Is Houston overrated or is UCF the real deal?
