I keep hearing the grumbling that LM is gone, but there are some who claim he is not on a hurried time frame to announce it. I will not go any further with details, because I don't want to get batsh!t crazy with rumors.....but I will say at this point nothing would surprise me, and with the way our OFF , DEF, and ST have been playing, it's no wonder that the most common returnees are to the Defensive side of the ball.You suck!
I wish the mods would change the title of this thread as of right now LM is still with the Huskers its misleading.

I know, I thought that puzzling as well. Especially since I just heard from "the source" again who reiterated that LM is indeed going to leave. But, sources have been wrong before, and young men change their minds. Who knows what will happen, but it will make it critical for the staff to accelerate the development of Smothers if LM leaving is true.....
If he was for sure gone, why wait...it would be to his advantage to have spring ball wherever he is going? I think ( no inside anything ) he isn’t gone yet. Maybe after spring but not yet .
We need him. We can win with him,only lose without him.
Inless we remove the qb run, AM would have to never miss time, we'd resmble not just an erratic offense, but a clunker of one too with no qb run threat, and way out of balance run attack.

It sounds like by waiting after the start of the new semester to announce the transfer, the player gets the scholarship/stipend for the remainder of the semester, while not even required to be on campus & meantime making plans to go elsewhere. Dylan McCaffrey did the same thing at Michigan.....

At this point who knows but I would think if LM was willing to make the position switch he would do it at a D1 program unless he really just wants to share the college experience with his brother and father.
