Linebacker(s)

I don't know why so many fans are fixated on recruited the 6'8'' OT out of Garden City COmmunity College when he isn't athletic at all. His run blocking is very weak and he can't get to the second level.

The Cunningham kid out of Iowa at that JUCO school is a hick of a lot more athletic.

The good news is that the coaches are not recruited that JUCO OT out of Garden City regardless of what the moron Nate Clouse says.

Fans havnt gotten their heads around what this staff wants, and especially, what it wants its offense and defense to do.
Still too many run the ball guys.
Too many wanting shut outs in todays game etc.

An example, bamas defense is currently 25th.
If you have to wonder why, look no further than their offense.
Thats todays football.

I think collectively we proved we don't know jackshit. Hence my 8-4 prediction.
yea I agree. Been reading other people's post on here trying to get a understanding of what the problem is and nobody really knows what they're talking about. Culture, OL issues, DL issues, penalties, causes for all the penalties, poor coaching, poor talent etc, etc. The only thing I know is we have to ride this coaching change out to see what happens. If 5 or 6 years from now we haven't seen much of a change, then we can probably assume it was the coaching hire. I pray to the lord that isn't the case as SF seems like the perfect fit. If he fails Husker football will never be the same.

It is a combination of several things. Not only thing alone. We got had two locker room cancers go.

Well of course WE don't know:). The question everyone is waiting with bated breath to have answered is......do the coaches know. I've cast my lot, and others have cast theirs. In the mean time we speculate.

I feel good about what we have committed at ILB. I would like to see us get a really athletic guy at OLB that can have an impact next season. I know the instate kids are likely to play linebacker so the numbers are fine.
