JoJo

I saw an Oregon safety play with a club bandage and make an INT last night. Even Trev played with an elbow brace.

I wonder if that has been ruled out. Playing with a clubbed hand.

JoJo already came back and gave us an extra year. With no chance at a bowl game I think it is selfish of us to ask him to keep playing hurt. He has more than earned the scholarship we gave him, let him get the surgery and move on to the next chapter in his football career and rep Nebraska in the NFL.

Fair enough. But I think his heart will tell him that he wants to leave with a win over Iowa on Sr day.

I hope anyway. It's not going to hurt his draft stock. The scouts already know what kind of player he is and he has 3 weeks to prep for it.

I am 100% good with JoJo calling it quits, opting for surgery, and getting ready for the combine.

Others previously said it: He came back for an extra year when he could have easily gone pro. He gave it his all every snap while he was here, and he'll be remembered fondly.

I'm disappointed. Not in JoJo, just the fact that I won't get to see him play for the Huskers again. Was hoping he would decide to finish out his last 2 games before having surgery.

I listened to his podcast and he truly wanted to but he risked damage that would have severely extend the recovery time. He opted to play one more game with a numb hand so that he could give it his all and enjoy one last game with his team.

I hadn't listened to anything. Admirable. Just wish he could have been able to finish it out. Enjoyed watching him play this year. Lot of heart in that player.

Early this season I thought he would get drafted in the late rounds and CTB around the third round. Jojo's come on strong and it would be nice to have someone crack the first 2 rounds. It's been a while.
