If You Don't Have A Pot To Pee In...

That's a pretty rough set-up, Pavolio. And, no.

Plus, if you just have a plastic mattress cover, 1: you never have to get out of bed early in the morning and risk stubbing your toe; or 2: it allows you to "warm" yourself on cold winter nights.

I have a friend who lives in Iowa with an outbuilding about a hundred feet from the house. It's his shop and has electricity but no plumbing. It comes in handy in the winter. A bottle of water gives it a quick rinse. Country living with redneck engineering.

Sad but true story. Hub's sister and her husband lived on an acreage 3 or 4 miles from GI. Best feature was that one of the outbuildings was an outhouse with not only one but two holes. It was great at a party as we women's always went in pairs. For one thing it was damn dark and 2 flashlights were better than 1. For another thing it was a great time to share a tidbit of gossip. Sadly, one of the 7 tornadoes that hit GI in 1980 made a preliminary stop at SIL's acreage. Lifted the house up and put it back down, just not exactly plumb. Took the second story off the barn. Killed a bunch of ducklings and goslings. The worst calamity as far as I was concerned was the 2 seater was completely wiped out (pun intentional). That house was cursed. They rebuilt and enlarged. Best country kitchen I've ever seen. About 5 years later, wiring in the original structure caused a horrendous fire. No one was home fortunately but the fire fighters ended up pushing the structure in and then doing a controlled blaze and the entire structure is gone. Haven't driven by there since we went to tour the fire damage so I have no idea if another house was ever built there or not. Sorry to digress but plumbing stories deserve an outhouse story and that always takes me back to the "Night of Terror" as my MIL referred to it as.

Much like the word "plethora", your story means a lot to me.
