I need honest, non-placating opinions... please

All red and whites, none of the black to respect winning Huskers.

Here's your Balloons Dr. I actually took 1 balloon out. Still not sure on which linear I'd go with, but color scheme Red/Gray-various shades are probably going to stay. Might swap in a white somewhere. Alas...still working. And I'm not particularly wanting to finish off the doors either, as I can remove the Top, etc. And the fenders?...I don't even want to think about it. The more I do, the more I'm probably going to end up having it painted. Plus it would make it easier to decide about painting the doors/fenders. Lol

This looks good. I wouldn't add white.

I've been struggling with this version - 4+ hours. Only at the end did I add the stadium. I can make it more translucent, keep the sea of red, but that looks like crap with the red siding, so B&W makes the most sense.

I think it is plain enough, yet says what I need. I still have other base schemes I can try. I don't want to desaturate(red) the base under the stadium, but if I do, I can make the stadium more transparent, I'll look at that tomorrow. Balloons...eh. Again, might add just to take a look.

Not sure if I worded it correctly. The large sections that are gun metal gray in the pic, make it red. The thin red lines, make them gray. I know gray is not one of our colors, but against the black I think it looks better than "cream" would.
Yeah, I can see that and totally agree.

I enjoy looking at your various designs, GI.

You might try experimenting with a black jeep featuring the top half of of a color, photo-quality Memorial Stadium along its bottom with small red N balloons floating up on either side of your big N logo.

that was my first thought. It was 1am when I first looked into my stadium photos. I just slapped the first one I came across to see how the juxtpo. fit.

I love the "N" but I don't like the stadium (think it's because it looks chopped up). Maybe size it down a little bit so you can fit the entire stadium in. Dunno.

As I stated above somewhere..I grabbed the first stadium I had just to see the Juxtpo...After extensive "Research" :)...I saw the hood with stadium comment,...and found this stadium version, and this is where I'm at. I was also thinking more of a smaller "Fist raising a helmet" - with everything B&W except the helmet stripe and "N" for the hood. I may switch that idea with the Stadium on the hood thing....I may just run out into the highway to end my madness :). But...I'm very close to calling this done.

BTW...I know simple striping, crisp edges, cleaner look are what make a lot of people go "now that's something I could do." Much appreciate those comments as well, but as I said...I am only doing this once and like my artwork, I want juuuuust a little bit more. I narrowed the color scheme to basically red and gray though, or "gray...ISH." Looking at this image would make one think...."That's huge", but up close and personal, it's really not.

Still haven't made up mind though. I'm not in a big rush, the rims alone, if these, are 2k+(for a set of 4). And I would still need to decide wrap, or paint job (more likely). But pick'ns are slim up here for detail auto paint jobs. - Any help in that regard is welcomed as well. The right side would mirror the left as well.

I like the stadium. The baloons not so much but its not mine either and they aren't horrible. If no stadium on the hood how about Herbie?

no offense taken. It is currently "busier" than I would normally do. But like my sculpture work...you can take away, but not add. So this is the "before subtracting stage."

I appreciate the link also, but whatever I end up with will be my design. Think of it as a painting I might do, or anything else I do.

I wasn't sure the hinges could be covered, and I do like the red/gray option from your link. I even have one sample in that. And I have a linear sample made. So I'll take that red/gray one and do an overlay. And I have some red directional rims already in mind. I'm only doing it once, so I want to get it right. :)
Well, if you want to make it into a Husker Jeep, you should paint it red, give it a salt bath, then run it into a ditch and leave it sitting there for another 25 years…

Love the stadium now! As I said earlier, I'm not one for wrapping, but this is just cool!!!

You know what I want to feel uncertain about is not just making it a non FB themed...because all of the sports teams are doing really well.

But we all know FB is what put us on the map.

As far as this latest "experiment...I may shrink the balloons enough to not take away from the main center part. As a team, we're getting there. Thnx for the constructive crit.

I like the first one over all the others. I do like this last one except for the balloons and the N logo. The stadium idea is awesome. I'd put the logo somewhere else.

Can you somehow incorporate this into your design?

This is fantastic! It's the best you've shared and I think it's a winner.

OK...I've come to a decision...of sorts. These are the elements I will, or may use. I won't add, but I could subtract. And could still do a final maneuvering - rearranging, if I just can't come to grips with the juxtpo.

I'm thinking repaint the Jeep stripes first - to include the Jeep itself...with the stripes(obviously to expert detail level) - across the entire Hood, with also possible tweeks as far as size/width...little things. I'll get their recommendation. About the only thing I would do is reverse the color scheme. Light Gray inside to the Red outside.

Then I'm thinking if I can get the side panels in a wrap, even better, as a detail paint guy might not even want to tackle that part, OR....charge an arm and leg to do it. But as I said, I could take away; and the more I look at the stadium element, the more I want to keep it. I can make it more translucent. But that falls under "tweeks."

Anyway...it will end up looking as some version of this. Thnx for all the crits, because in a sense, it is "our" project. :-)
