I need honest, non-placating opinions... please

When I got my Black Jeep a couple years ago, I told my wife that I'm going to make into a "Husker" jeep. And what I'm going to do is a vehicle wrap for the sides, and something on a smaller scale for the hood later.- anyone know anyone in the business would help me also.

Well, holidays and all, I decided to get a start on it. I've included where I'm at, AND...I'm pretty settled on the center "N/Huskers" logo, and the color scheme for the rest. I'm just not sold on the design...just yet, but close. For example: make more curves, more squared off edges, things like that. Thnx

I mean no offense. I do not like that design. Maybe less ( or no curves ) on a jeep body that is a lot of straight edges.

no offense taken. It is currently "busier" than I would normally do. But like my sculpture work...you can take away, but not add. So this is the "before subtracting stage."

I appreciate the link also, but whatever I end up with will be my design. Think of it as a painting I might do, or anything else I do.

I wasn't sure the hinges could be covered, and I do like the red/gray option from your link. I even have one sample in that. And I have a linear sample made. So I'll take that red/gray one and do an overlay. And I have some red directional rims already in mind. I'm only doing it once, so I want to get it right.

Your stuff is alway really good, GI. I really like the "N" logo design. Very sharp!

With the curvy wrap arounds, I like the way it wraps around the side of your jeep BUT I'm not wild about the wrap consisting of white and red leaves.

My personal preference would be something more "Husker-ish" like a wrap around of flying red balloons. Against a black background, I think that would look prettty cool.

Here's your Balloons Dr. I actually took 1 balloon out. Still not sure on which linear I'd go with, but color scheme Red/Gray-various shades are probably going to stay. Might swap in a white somewhere. Alas...still working. And I'm not particularly wanting to finish off the doors either, as I can remove the Top, etc. And the fenders?...I don't even want to think about it. The more I do, the more I'm probably going to end up having it painted. Plus it would make it easier to decide about painting the doors/fenders. Lol

I also like the linear design. It’s cleaner, looks windswept, has a serious no nonsense vibe, you don’t want cutesy. Just my humble opinion FWIW.

yeah...the logo is about all I truly like. The leaf thing is more about spacing with color than the leaves themselves.I don't want an over saturation of any shapes I use to steal from the black in the jeep. I'll get there. Thank God for layers.

I was 99% ready to use just solid red, and after seeing yours...IF I go with balloons, they will be solid. I'm thinking maybe a transparent stadium now with balloons. lol

which one, the original? me too probably. I needed to see it "out and about." I should have caveated my OP that the color scheme was more of my interest than the design.

Kinda looks like a low rider, or something a parade vehicle would do..But...I'm not.

This is badass, but try swapping the red trim with the gun metal gray. The more Husker colors the better!

Not sure if I worded it correctly. The large sections that are gun metal gray in the pic, make it red. The thin red lines, make them gray. I know gray is not one of our colors, but against the black I think it looks better than "cream" would.
