I really hope not. This is incredibly frustrating but the thought of starting year 1 with a new coaching staff sends shivers down my spine. We've done this way too many times recently. However, if it becomes necessary, I'm behind the next coach 100%.
I'd be curious as to why anyone would want Chinander, unless you think he'll be an awesome administrator. We can't tackle, our D backs can't cover anyone, our D line is a wet noodle and his defenses have a propensity to make average QB's look like Tom Brady, or run-of-the-mill backs look like Derrick Henry.
I'm with you KRed. He was under fire the first two years here and was slightly above average last year. Clearly the defense has taken a huge step back again this year. Hard pass on Chinander. Time to clean house entirely.

Shins proved he is a good DC as long as he has the Jimmy and Joes. Yesterdays game exposed a serious drop off in talent and speed. DL looks bigger but slower and hasn’t matured enough to understand violent hands with leverage. LB lacks speed and size, DB’s are serviceable. Last years Defense had NFL talent at various positions, where is there NFL talent from what you saw on Saturday?
He might make a good HC but not at NU!!
