I don't see it happening although I wish it would happen. As CrazyHole stated in a different thread, we have less than a snowball's chance in hell of winning our remaining 3 games, so why the hell not get rid of Frost and start rebuilding now?Let Chin be the interim and go out and make good hire.
The last couple of weeks he has definitely sounded like he knows that his fate is sealed.Let Chin be the interim and go out and make good hire.
What makes me wonder is his digging his heels in so hard over AM2 It's like he knows he is gone and just said "Eff it", DunnoThe last couple of weeks he has definitely sounded like he knows that his fate is sealed.
Funny you should mention that/ They asked Frost after the game what he said to the team after the game. He said nothing. He sent the captains in to address the team. He said there is nothing more he can say that hasn't been addressed already and they shouldn't rely on their coach to get them pumped to win. They should already be up to play the games. My take away is the captains need to be leaders and held accountable. Maybe having the coaches in the same room keep the players from calling each other out. Which needs to be done. Maybe AM2 will do the right thing and bench himself.Fire frost or not it takes a team to play and a coach to teach. but at this point in the season you got to ask yourself whos running this team Frost or Am2
Shatel has a good article or opinion piece in the OWH tonite. I think everyone knows where this is going including the media
I didn't see the game......just the score. Since I don't know what happened, or why, I can't point any fingers, but this scenario seems to be taking on a life of its own. I'm not sure what's going to happen is to any husker fans liking, but sometimes things are just beyond anyone's ability to control. Right now it just looks like an experiment that didn't work. I will take no joy in any changes that might unfold, but I'll understand them if they happen.Shatel has a good article or opinion piece in the OWH tonite. I freely admit that my take away may have something to do with the foul mood I'm in BUT when the head coach says nothing after a tough loss and leaves it to his captains, what am I to think if I'm one of the players in that locker room? My coach walks away and doesn't speak to us? What am I supposed to think about that?Funny you should mention that/ They asked Frost after the game what he said to the team after the game. The first thing that came to my mind was that Frost already knows he is gone. And yes, I find it particularly gutless and certainly not what I expected from Scott Frost when he was our QB.I freely admit that my take away may have something to do with the foul mood I'm in BUT when the head coach says nothing after a tough loss and leaves it to his captains, what am I to think if I'm one of the players in that locker room? For what it's worth, I would have thought a stunt like that by my HC was pretty damn gutless.

Seriously, sounds like Frost has given up on the team or knows he is going to be cannedA coach is a leader of young players. A true leader doesn't do this, but would be there with them. Are we seeing the problem here.
I have a different view. One of the most critical factors in 90s success was the player leadership and when that dropped off, so did the success. I haven’t seen the player leadership like it needs to be. Also, I give SF credit for trying something different….you know the insanity thing. When I see AM getting into someone’s shorts about missed assignments, then I will start believing player leadership is where it needs to be. This is leadership and not tolerating unsat:A coach is a leader of young players. A true leader doesn't do this, but would be there with them. Are we seeing the problem here.
