Fire Matt, Fire Dana, get rid of Colandrea, 5-7, no bowl

I think our wonderful AD would then give him another extension and a salary bump and we'll be in this level of ineptitude for freakin' ever.

I have a niece who lives in Lincoln. She called her daddy, my big brother, today and said that the denizens of Lincoln are beyond pissed about Rhule. There may be bloody hell to pay if Rhule isn't escorted out of town. It's time for him to fly! Name that tune
Reo Speed Wagon

The fan base couldn't stand our last two winning coaches. There had to be someone better out there somewhere.
Maybe we would be better off with a coach that could find a way to win at least nine games and not be very pleasant or friendly

I hear you but the money will have to be addressed - both to buyout Rhule and staff - but also to hire an entire new staff including a head coach (who might cost as much as Rhule - depending on what the budget allows). That's significant $$$ and at some point the money folks are going to say no.

Do assistants have buyouts? I thougt it was just the HC

You mean Bo.
Solich was liked fine - he just struggled to win tough games (Top 10). And expectations were a bit unrealistic. He had a 500 season then got rolled a couple times with Bo as DC. Powers that be thought a change was needed. So be it. Problem was the hiring process was horrible leading to BC. Bo also struggled against higher ranked opponents. Not to mention pissing off a bunch of university people. Burned his bridges being an asshat.
Both didn't exactly set the world on fire after Nebraska. Frank was a good coach for Ohio - not a Power 5 team. Bo didn't do Baby Poop after Nebraska. One playoff run at Youngtown State - then he completely crapped his pants as a coach.

I have never understood why people care what coaches did after NU? All that matters to me is what they did here. Those are the only two who had any real success here as coaches. Does it really matter what they did after here?
Callahan and Riley will never be college head coaches again. But who cares? If Frost goes on to win 3 national championships does it change anything that he absolutely sucked here? If TO had decided that he didn't want to retire after all and went back to coaching a year after he retired and coached for a couple years and went 0-24 would it change that fact that he was a legend while here?

I thought this was Motley Crue.
You know I'm a dreamer but my hearts made of gold.
But you did Super Tramp
Dreamer, nothing but a dreamer
Never did much in the way with the big hair bands. My niece, on the other hand, could tell you every lyric from any of what was considered a "big hair" band.

Blamp. That would be Supertramp. Possible those words could be in an Anne Murray song as well. I loved her singing Snowbird. She's got a gorgeous voice.
Very similar words, unfortunately, not a big fan of hers. Of course, my wife picked one of her songs for our wedding dance 43+ years ago. Enough about me and back to the subject.
