I guess Rhule has to operate as if he still will be head coach next season - so sure make a change at OC. If we loose the next 3 games it seems likely Rhule is gone. BUT - that buyout might make him unfireable right now. In which case this is all performative and he'll make some new bad decisions about OC and how to coordinate ST before getting fired a year or 2 down the road.

I think Ryan Day would be a good choice. He seems to win and get great players.

This season should have been so much better. The Big 10 wasn't near as tough as preseason indicates. The schedule wasn't near as daunting.
But attitude reflected leadership. Our head coach doesn't have it. He can't lead.
Money aside, in this era, recruiting HS talent isn't as important as it once was. Any new head coach, if they are a current college coach, will bring talent with him.
So I'm not worried with the recruiting class if Rhule is somehow not retained.

I think our wonderful AD would then give him another extension and a salary bump and we'll be in this level of ineptitude for freakin' ever.

I have a niece who lives in Lincoln. She called her daddy, my big brother, today and said that the denizens of Lincoln are beyond pissed about Rhule. There may be bloody hell to pay if Rhule isn't escorted out of town. It's time for him to fly! Name that tune
