Fire Matt, Fire Dana, get rid of Colandrea, 5-7, no bowl

Kicker is a head scratcher - but long snapping was something ID'd before the season as a spot we didn't have a good solution for. If you watch the FGs snaps are clearly an issue. I don't see it on punts....maybe Archie's aussie football style helps him get to poor snaps. I'd say there is opportunity to improve the return and coverage teams with some player changes - I know Eckler prided himself on using back-ups to get elite results on Special Teams - I don't think the 2026 staff can get those results. Evaluate some player changes there.
I haven't seen anyone on D or O that stands out as needed more playing time - Rule being the lead back would be good. I do not think playing TJ would help he was a mile behind AC at the Spring Game. Not that AC is playing well recently - he's not - if that is due to being beat up maybe TJ getting a few series would make sense.

Good to see that somebody else sees the bad snaps. Look at every missed kick and look at the snap...not good. It starts there.

The losses are from the headsets.
The losses are from both. When teams struggle, the same sides quickly form up:

Group #1: "It's the coaches fault" - and the largest of the groups, I suspect, because there are many more former players out there than former coaches (duh)
Group #2: "It's the players' faults"

They are ALL to be faulted when the TEAM doesn't win.
Just IMO.

damn... idk,I have got to believe Rhule is an upgrade over Mike Riley, but that's a lot of games and scoreboard tells it all. But the program HAS GOT TO BE so much better... Rileys teams weren't even lifting if they didn't want too. We played the defending National champs to the wire. Same with a solid Oregon team. But stats over time tell the tale.
No matter who's coaching, Nebraska can't put together a complementary football team. Solich offenses would sputter and fumble the ball all over the field while the defense did everything they could (2002 notwithstanding, thanks to Craig Bohl for prioritizing skirt-chasing over football). Callahan would lose games 65-51. Pelini would get brutalized on the counter play over and over and be too effing stupid to stop it even when Taylor Martinez was running wild and putting up 38 points. Riley and Frost are clearly mediocre coaches. Rhule is the only one who has been willing to make staff changes without being forced by the AD, so if he sends Holgorsen packing, fine. If not, uugggghhhh. He'll also need to stop interjecting himself making awful decisions to blitz the best coverage guy on the field at critical points of the game :|

Just to be clear with Bo - he wanted the team to stop run plays that worked by running the D he called correctly - and at times would not adjust the D because he was pissed players weren't doing it right - he was told in the B1G championship blowout to Wisky - by the players - what adjustment to make and he essentially told them to run the D he was calling correctly. I know Bo looks attractive today given how many wins he got in Lincoln but he would NOT be getting 9 wins against the quality of opponents in the B1G today.

Given the talent we have on the field and the teams we have played so far, I believe we would be undefeated at this moment with Bo as head coach.:popcorn:
